This concept has existed in Barcelona for almost 5 years now, while has recently been integrated in other cities such as Dublin, Paris and Stockholm.
Not an original design however, bicycles are very much the future with the new development of the electric bike this is an area very much to become the concentration of city and rural design

Maybe the actual renting of bikes in cities is nothing new, but I haven’t yet seen anywhere on the outskirts of these places where there’s a designated place to park specifically for the system. That was more the intention of the design, as well as updating the original concept.
